August 25, 2026 (Fargo, ND) | Fargo Jet Center today announced the sale of its flight school to Fargo Wings, led by President Jeff Ohman. The transition took effect August 22, 2026.
Fargo Wings will continue growing flight training in the Fargo area while maintaining the same level of service the flight school has long been known for. Operations will continue out of Fargo Jet Center facilities, to ensure minimal disruption for students and instructors.
“We are extremely proud of what our flight school team has accomplished,” said Jim Sweeney, President of Fargo Jet Center. “The school has built an outstanding reputation for safety, professionalism, and quality instruction. We’re confident Fargo Wings is well positioned to carry that forward and continue growing flight training here in Fargo.”
“We’re honored to take on the legacy that Fargo Jet Center has built over the years,” said Jeff Ohman, President of Fargo Wings. “This is an exciting time to continue the momentum of the school, and deliver quality flight training services to our community.”
Fargo Jet Center and Fargo Wings are working closely together to ensure a seamless transition for employees and students, with continuity of training and operations a top priority. Both companies expect to continue partnering to further the growth of aviation services and opportunities in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
